Some sketches of plants. The cactus is a house plant we have in our home, y’know, that you can’t kill because it can stand any conditions you put it through. but as a matter of fact you can kill it. No green thumbs here. But this cactus is actually still alive. A bit dry, but alive. Now that’s a miracle!
The other sketch is more free imagination and in a style that resembles one Edward Gorey whom I was very much intrigued by last year. And still is. This one is not grotesque or horrifying, I think.
Both sketches are made with fine liner pens from either Copic, Staedler or Rothring.
